Brian Phillips

Originally trained as a land surveyor, Brian worked throughout the world before moving into the commercial sector in 1994 where he became the golf course construction manager for the largest engineering company in Norway, Veidekke.

With an eye for design and a passion for golf, the transition to golf course architecture was inevitable and after studying at Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, Brian graduated top of the class with an MSc in Golf Course Architecture. Now an associate member and lecturer at the European Institute of Golf Course Architects, he is the only architect in Norway with such a qualification.
